Trikeri island is in the embrace of the Pagasitikos Gulf in south Pelion. We will experience a contrast of landscape, one that is more commonly associated with Greece. Trikeri island is carpeted with thousands of olive trees. It has few buildings and no motor vehicles whatsoever. From the unique and tranquil atmosphere of the monastery one can enjoy a walk around the island and swim at its tiny beaches.
N.B. The monastery has very basic facilities. Accommodation, taverna evening meal and breakfast are included in the price.
DAY 6

Leisurely breakfast will be taken at a harbour-side taverna. Free time before joining the "gullet", which will cruise along the coast of the Pagasitikos Gulf back to the quay. On the way it will make stops at beautiful, pristine little bays and islands, where we will enjoy a swim or dive from the boat into the crystal clear warm waters of the sea.
DAY 7
Zagora Village and the Women's Co-operative
Zagora, the proud capital of Pelion, is the "village of the apples". It is famous for its contribution to learning, art, and trade. We will check out large village mansions, magnificent churches, shaded flag-stoned squares, the old library and the historical Rigas Fereos' School. Then we will pay a visit to the Zagora Women's Co-operative, where traditional sweets of the spoon and liqueurs are made from the local fruits of the earth.
